- Landon Horner was in the 108th Illinois Infantry.
- Joel Montel [sic - Moutell] entered the 60th Illinois Infantry on January 15, 1862 for 3 years as a private. He was residing in Anna, Union County, Illinois. He was 24, 5'9", black hair, black eyes, single and a farmer. In February, 1864 he reenlisted as a veteran. He mustered out on July 31, 1865 in Louisville, KY. (See: Illinois State Archives)
