Delean Etherton
ALTO PASS -- Delean T. Etherton, 79, died at 3:06 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1988, in Murphysboro.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today in Walker Funeral Home in Alto Pass, with burial in Alto Pass Cemetery. Visitation will be until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Etherton was a member of Dutch Ridge Baptist Church.
He was born June 25, 1908, in Jackson County to Omer and Myrtle (Grammer) Etherton.
He married Lucille Hartline in 1933. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Marjorie Williams of Murphysboro; one stepson, Bobby Freeman of Murphysboro; two sisters, Ethel Grammer and Agnes Etherton, both of Alto Pass; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five great-stepgrandchildren.
One brother preceded him in death.
