Description:
Willard Penrod was born May 21, 1907, in Pomona Township to Albert and Maude Penrod. His siblings include Ray Penrod of Carbondale, Ruby Morgan of Vergennes, Eudell Tuttle of Carbondale and two brothers and one sister who preceded him in death.
He married Carrie Hickam in 1928. She survives. He had one son, Paul Penrod, of Murphysboro.
Mr. Penrod was a retired farmer and a member of the Jackson County Farm Bureau.
Mr. Penrod died at the age of 80 in the Jackson County Nursing Home, Murphysboro, Illinois.
