Source #55: E-mail - Chris Crow

I received an E-mail on January 5, 2000 from Chris Crow containing information on Thomas G. Etherton.

Thomas G (VA1783-1847IL) was the third generation of his family in
America. He married Jennie "Jane" Lipe and had a bundle of kids.  His
father Samuel (1757-abt.1835) was likely born in VA, too. Samual's
father James (1715-abt. 1785) was born in St. Brides, Wales. James was
an indentured servant (agent John Taylor, Fleet Street, London) 1733-37,
who arrived in Jamaica on November 6, 1733. He was literate and worked
as a carpenter or sawyer.
