LAW SUIT OVER FEW DOLLARS
GEORGE WAKEFIELD ESTATE IS NOW IN COURT
IS A FIGHT FOR POSSESSION
Left a Couple Horses and Few Other Belonging and Big Law Suit is the Outcome of the Troubles
When George Wakefield died following injury received from a gun shot wound he left a couple horses and a few other articles of small value, which the district court and 12 jurors are now called on to distribute to the proper parties. Before he died he made a bill of sale to his brother James. Randall Wakefield was appointed administrator, made some claim on the stuff, did not get it, and later L. L. Taylor was made administrator. Replevin proceedings were brot to get the stuff and now court and jury are hearing the evidence, Howell & Elgin represent Mrs. Wakefield the mother of George, and his brother Randall. W. H. Sanders represents James, to whom it ia reported the bill of sale was made so the property could be given to the children of the deceased.
