A correspondent of the Kirksville Journal writes as follows to that paper.
"Thos. Lawson departed this life October 17, 1984. Deceased was 82 years of age, was born in Tennessee, emigrated to Missouri in the year 1852, and resided in Putnam County since that time. Mr. L. was much respected as a citizen".
