Milo Edward "Sonny" Rains, 74, of Cape Girardeau, MO, died Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born September 3, 1937 in Murphysboro, IL to Milo Samuel and Florence Ardell Blackwell Rains. He and Imogene D. Foeste were married April 28, 1972 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Mr. Rains was employed by Product Engineering Co. in Cape Girardeau, MO. as a welder. He was a member of Word of Faith Fellowship Church. Survivors include: Wife- Imogene D. Rains, Cape Girardeau, MO. Daughter - Sarah M. Rains, Cape Girardeau, MO. Brother - Arthur "Bud" Burton, Cape Girardeau, MO. Sisters - Becky Rains, Cape Girardeau, MO. Mary Sparks, Cape Girardeau, MO. Linda Pulliam, Cape Girardeau, MO. Lillian Brown, Cape Girardeau, MO. Florence Arriola, Santa Ynez, CA. Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by Parents, Brothers - Paul & Sam Rains. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Ford & Sons Sprigg St. Chapel. Funeral will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Ford & Sons Sprigg St. Chapel with the Rev. Don Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
