Goldie Evalena Ellis, 76, passed away at 3:23 a.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2019. at the Manor Court of Carbondale.
Goldie was born on March 16, 1943, in Murphysboro, to Herbert Nance and Esther (Ellis) Nance. Her father passed away and Esther later married Harry Reeves. Both Esther and Harry have preceded Goldie in death.
Goldie married Howard Leon Ellis on August 16, 1963, in Murphysboro, and he preceded her in death on November 14, 2004.
Survivors include five children Tony Ellis, Troy Ellis, Jody Ellis, Jason Ellis and Robin Ellis and three grandchildren.
one sister Eva Reeves.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Pettett Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Cunningham officiating and burial at Dutch Ridge Cemetery.
